I recently completed a freestyle Fusion 360 project a personal comb design and used it as the perfect canvas to practice embossing text onto a 3D model. This comb may be simple, but it gave me the freedom to explore Fusion 360’s text and emboss tools, ensuring each creation carries my unique signature.

I began by sketching the comb’s outline, carefully spacing the teeth and crafting an ergonomic handle profile. Once the basic form was ready, I navigated to the Create → Text command, typed “JAYDEN CREATIONS,” and positioned it along the handle’s length. Using the Emboss feature, I raised the lettering cleanly from the surface, tweaking font size, alignment, and emboss depth until the brand imprint looked crisp and professional.

Although I know no one is likely to steal a digital comb, embedding “JAYDEN CREATIONS” now establishes a workflow I’ll carry into all future projects. From complex mechanical assemblies to polished consumer designs, this watermark will protect my intellectual property and reinforce my signature style every time.

This project sharpened my mastery of Fusion 360’s text-based features and highlighted the value of personal branding in CAD. I’m excited to apply this embossing technique to my next creations each one stamped with my mark and ready to stand out.
