Board Game Design Challenge: Day 5
Today was the moment of truth: the first full playtest. I set up the board, placed the pieces, and played through an entire match. Board Game Design Challenge: Day 4
Today was an easy day. With the pieces done, I shifted my focus to the board and the overall aesthetic. I wanted Kratos to feel ancient, like something carved into stone or pulled from a temple. Designing a game is one thing. Building it physically is a whole different battle. Today I started manufacturing the pieces, and it was rough. Some prints came out too small. Others were too fragile.
